Seel Street One-Way System to stay… But the other way around!

Posted By Peter / July, 7, 2012

Dear residents & friends,

You might have heard it already, but Liverpool City Council’s Councillors have decided to reverse the Seel Street One-Way-System and let it run the other way for a certain period until either direction is made permanent. It will stay one way!

We always maintained our point: Which ever way Seel Street goes, it is important that it stays one way – and our view point was also supported by other local businesses, Taxis, Police, etc. etc.

So watch out… From the 13th July, cars will come the other way on Seel Street!

Thanks and best regards,
Peter

Ropewalks Residents’ Association: Chair confirmed!

Posted By Peter / May, 8, 2012

Dear residents and friends,

During our regular ‘Forum’ (held on 13th April @ Fact; key outcomes to follow on here shortly), our interim Chair Peter Schriewersmann (Ropewalks Resident) was unanimously voted as the permanent Chair for another 12 months. Part of our discussion was the setting of priorities for our Residents’ Association for the coming 12 months.

Please find our meeting minutes here, and our Association’s Vision here.

Thanks to everyone who voluntarily supported the work of our group over the last few months and years – and let’s crack on making further changes, making the Ropewalks an even better place to live, work and play in the future!

Best regards,
The Ropewalks Residents’ Association
